Hydration Guide testing - 50k Ultra

Hydration Guide testing - 50k Ultra

What was the idea with a ultra run?

After months of work on a personalized hydration guide designed to be used by our customers and athletes in the future - the theory had to be tested in practice.

The happened at the day?

To do that, our Co-founders, along with members of the team, put their own bodies on the line in a 50k ultra. Early Friday morning, the team set up a hydration station in a public park. The test course consisted of a 1.6 km loop, repeated 31 times to reach the full distance. At every 10-kilometer mark, the runners stopped briefly for physiological measurements. Urine samples were collected, and sodium levels were analyzed to monitor hydration status throughout the effort. The test was designed to simulate real endurance conditions, generating data that will help shape Supplme’s upcoming personalized hydration guide - built not in theory, but through direct, physical testing.
