Why is SUPPLME dedicated to liposome technology?
The supplement industry has largely remained unchanged since the 1960s. It's time we make a change today and utilize the most advanced technology available.
Liposomal technology: the science behind SUPPLME
Liposomal technology stands at the core of SUPPLME's liquid supplement efficiency, owing its success to the proprietary nutrient-delivery system, NutriProtect. This innovative technology, a product of a decade-long development effort by our collaborating lab is integrated into every SUPPLME liquid supplement to enhance bioavailability.
What are Liposomes?
A liposome is a tiny vesicle made out of the same material as a cell membrane, which is primarily composed of phospholipids. The structure of a liposome, which includes a hydrophobic (water-repelling) outer layer and a hydrophilic (water-attracting) inner space, makes it an excellent carrier for both water-soluble and fat-soluble substances, allowing them to be delivered directly to cells in a more efficient manner.
A simpler explanation of liposome technology is using life vests for vitamins and nutrients. Just as a life vest helps a person float in water, liposomes help nutrients stay safe and intact as they travel through the harsh environment of the digestive system. This technology encases the nutrients in tiny, protective bubbles, allowing them to be delivered directly to the cells where they're needed, without being damaged or lost along the way. The benefits include better absorption of the nutrients into the body, reduced waste, and more effective results, much like how a life vest ensures better safety and efficiency in water.
